What an honor and privilege it is to be called “Pastor.” I became the Sr. Pastor of South Side on August 4, 2013. On August 4, 1985 I surrendered my life to full-time Christian ministry. At that time I did not know what ministry that I would be called to, but just a few weeks later I knew that God had called me to be a Pastor. I have been allowed the privilege of pastoring churches in Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. My wife, Sherry, and I were married on December 19, 1980. We have two grown children, Aaron, wife Charla and son Vedder live in Spiro, OK; Audrey, husband Bryan and sons Cade, Liam, Isaac, Beckham, and Kingston live in Ozark, MO. My heart's desire for the local church is to be On Mission with God locally, statewide, in North America and Internationally. Sherry and I are looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in and through the people at South Side. My life verses are found in John 13:4-5, “So He got up from supper, laid aside His robe, took a towel, and tied it around Himself. Next, He poured water into a basin and began to wash His disciples' feet and dry them with the towel tied around Him.” My favorite song is, well, most everyone that comes on Christian Contemporary Radio!! Sherry and I look forward to serving our Great and Mighty God with the people at South Side.

He is a graduate of Andersonville Baptist Theological Seminary in Camilla, Ga.  He received his Master's Degree in Pastoral Ministries in September 2002 and his Doctorate of Ministry in May 2004.
